There is a big difference in “I” and “we” and I will explain that major difference.
The person who thinks in terms of “I” is a leader.
The person who thinks in terms of “we” is a dumb stupid follower.
Who is more apt to become successful?
I am.
Who is more apt to play by the rules and get EXACTLY nowhere?
We are.
Why?
The person who thinks in terms of “we” (what are we doing now, how should we act) is a dumb stupid pleaser.
He wants to please the group and all of his superiors.
The “we” thinker doesn’t have confidence in himself and needs approval from the whole ENTIRE group.
“There’s no “I” in team.”
But there’s an “I” in win and there’s a “we” in weak.
You CAN’T build a meaningful life by being weak or meek.
The people who make the rules definitely DON’T follow the rules because they DON’T have to.
The rules are only for the meek and the weak.
Rules aren’t laws and the rules definitely don’t apply to EVERYBODY.
The rules are designed for YOU to put your life and purpose on a deferred payment plan.
Just do as we say now (and make us $$$) and you will be richly rewarded later.
If you’re simple minded enough to fall for such a scheme, then I cannot feel any pity or empathy for you.
If you CAN’T help yourself… then you DON’T deserve a helping hand.
Nothing great will happen to you later if you don’t do SOMETHING great now.
Some people need the rules to function and some people are simply above the rules.
Some people are simply BETTER than the god damn rules.
I don’t play by the rules.
I don’t care what the rules are.
The rules mean absolutely NOTHING to me.
I used to play by the rules (sort of).
It NEVER got me too much.
“But…but…but…Don’t you know the meek shall inherit the earth?”
Sure.
They can have it when I’m finished.
Until next time.
Your man,
-Elijah “The Realist”
