I don’t know about you but I’m convinced that we have only one life to live.
If you want success, real success, you have to make your own way.
No two ways about it.
The path laid out for you is a path of mediocrity and struggle.
Do I have to KEEP saying it?
Yes, I do.
You’ve got only one life to live, why would you WANT to live like a dupe when you could simply flip the switch and live like a king.
I’ve been on both sides of the spectrum, I’ve had a job where I was allowed to be no more than 6 minutes late, 3 times per quarter and I was allowed such and such amount of sick days.
What happened if I took more “free time”?
I’d be instantly fired.
Reasonable, I guess.
What happened if I went above and beyond, did great work, came in early and stayed late?
Absolutely Nothing.
Go figure.
So you could waste your time being told what you can and cannot do, or you could spend your time building your future.
The choice to me is so obvious… I’m almost shocked that it’s such a struggle for people to simply leave their jobs.
Good for them, though.
They make sure my teeth are white and my garbage is out of sight.
But I know that some people simply demand more.
I know some gentlemen aren’t out just to earn a meager living.
I know some gentlemen are striving to live just like a King.
Those are the gentlemen that Frauds and Liars provides solutions for.
The strivers, the achievers, the go-getters.
Let me tell you a tell-tale sign of a loser.
Someone who says the following statement is a loser: “I NEVER think about my job after I leave. I leave my work at work”.
I could’t stop thinking about my work for longer than an hour, ever.
I even sometimes dream about it most nights.
To be a great artist (great businessmen are artists) you are always “on”.
You NEVER mentally take time off from your craft.
If you don’t spend a second thinking about your work after you leave (except on Sunday evening when the dread starts) that means you are living an unfulfilling, pointless life.
We have one life, so why do you waste it?
That’s not rhetorical because I’m NOT talking to those simple minded morons who simply CAN’T do any BETTER.
I’m talking to the men who already KNOW that they are simply wasting and rotting away but DON’T do a damn thing to ever stop it.
I’m talking to you, the man who demands success.
What is real success….
Well, we could say that SUCCESS is WHATEVER you actually WANT it to be, but that’s NOT really the case.
A guy who wants to live in a van in the Mojave desert may be happy, but he definitely isn’t successful.
The formula for real success is…
Monetary rewards + fulfilling work + intimacy from and with a devoted partner.
In short, a profitable business where you are top dog, work that drives you to wake up at the crack of dawn and a hot little number who loves you like her daddy.
It’s NOT outside the realm of possibility, even if it seems like it currently is, and if you DON’T have those 3 important things your life is ALWAYS going to be a struggle.
So strive to achieve those 3 things.
Not much else REALLY required.
Surely you’ve seen those dumb blog postings that try and get you to “do something epic, do the impossible, make magic happen” and all that other nonsense, but that type of garbage is ALWAYS written by broke people.
You don’t need to do something “epic”.
You just need money, meaningful work and intimacy.
Easy as one, two, three.
