You don’t know when or where it will happen, but it definitely will.
Your day is definitely coming.
That day could be a dream or a complete nightmare.
You will experience riches beyond imagination or a crisis that sends you to hell.
Most people simply coast through life.
They aren’t ready for when that moment finally hits them.
In our lifetimes we may make millions of dollars, live the sex lives of Roman emperors, see our children graduate from Harvard.
Or we may get cancer.
Our children may die in a car crash.
I have seen it all, and when it happens, MOST people are simply NOT ready.
Male suicide flat out spikes after a divorce.
A man’s wife leaves him.
Because the man was a beta supplicant WITHOUT any core values OR a sense of what it means to be a man, he is crushed and instantly kills himself.
All of those years kissing a woman’s feet would have been MUCH BETTER spent building himself up as a man, but MOST men (are you one of them?) are downright afraid of what they could possibly become.
They chose to lose themselves in SOMEONE else, to live a life of needy co-dependence.
Or maybe your 8 Mile Moment approaches.

The person you ALWAYS wanted to impress sees you, and he is NOT impressed.
You were TOO BUSY goofing off to prepare for your REAL actual moment.
Rather than hone your craft and become a REAL-LIFE master, you chose to simply live a life of needless distraction.
(Or perhaps you put your full faith and credit into a relationship with SOMEONE other than yourself.)
Luck, as Seneca the Younger noted, is “the point where preparation meets opportunity.”
Your day arrives.
You immediately blow it.
You blame “dumb luck.”
Yes, dumb luck was involved, although the dumb is an adjective best describing the man.
You see an opportunity but you can’t take it, for you were unprepared.
I have prepared all of my life for something.
What that something is….I don’t actually know.
“Elijah, I need to meet with you right away,” my friend John Matthews said.
“Why,” I asked him.
“You are about to become famous,” was his reply.
I laughed.
Sure enough, through no effort of my own, I started becoming famous.
How?
It just simply happened.
Dumb luck, as they say.
Maybe my day has already come.
I have been writing in one form or another for 20 years.
Twenty fucking years.
If you count my blog posts, journal entries, and forum posts, I have written several million words.
Twenty years and millions of words and people ask me why Frauds and Liars is so successful.
As if there are any REAL actual tricks.
I started getting recognized in public last year, and 2021 led to an insane interest in me and my work.
I prepared for this moment all of my life.
I didn’t know that I was preparing for it.
I didn’t know when EXACTLY it would actually happen.
Yet it finally did.
Your moment will certainly come.
You will either soar to a high-high or crash too a low-low.
