When you immediately step inside the gym, what’s the #1 absolute FIRST THING on your mind?
How crowded it actually is?
That cute sexy smiling chick with the big booty on the stair master?
Your current terrible horrible crappy job?
The VERY SIMPLE fact…
Is that most guys bring a whole shit ton of mental baggage with them to the gym.
And that violates the #1 exact purpose that the gym should ever actually serve to a man.
The gym is NOT a place just to simply visit only to show off.
And it isn’t a place to let ALL of your little tiny insecurities flat out totally consume you.
It’s definitely 100% NOT a place to visit just so YOU can pick up girls either.
No, it’s simply a place… to TURN OFF your mind AND put your body to the absolute ultimate test.
It’s been dubbed “the iron temple” by some certain folks, and that’s quite the fitting name.
When you walk into the realm of the iron temple, there should be literally only ONE THING on your actual mind:
Can you do MUCH BETTER than your previous best?
Have YOU actually REALLY grown stronger?
Here’s EXACTLY why:
It helps build some REAL actual character
Arnold Schwarzenegger said it perfectly best:
“The resistance that you fight physically in the gym and the resistance that you fight in life can only build a strong character.”
When you step under the bar for a set of heavy squats that takes you to your physical limits, you have to put it all on the line.
It’s literally NOT comfortable.
It’s definitely NOT easy.
I don’t KNOW of literally ANY OTHER activity… where your REAL actual progress, can be SO accurately measured.
Growing stronger in the gym… embodies the EXACT same cycle of development and improvement, that you’ll face across literally ALL other areas of your life.
By fundamentally training yourself to literally ALWAYS push past your previous best in the gym…
You ingrain this notion as a VERY SIMPLE habit, immediately developed into your consciousness.
If you acknowledge this fact and begin to view the gym… as a place to simply test your wit and push your limits…
Your newfound desire to REALLY actually improve… will surface across literally ALL areas of your life.
The same way you’ll grow a REAL true actual burning desire… to hit the gym again… and see if you can complete an extra rep on the bench…
You’ll also begin to bring this EXACT same mentality to literally ALL of your other pursuits as well…
Be it attracting women, building a business, or literally ANYTHING else.
It guarantees some REAL solid actual results
The second reason you must ALWAYS strive to get stronger, is much more tangible:
Getting stronger guarantees a MUCH MORE bigger, leaner physique.
If you’re actually gaining weight and getting stronger, this is a sign that your body is synthesizing new muscle tissue.
Your strength increase is a literal direct result… of ALL of the BRAND NEW additional muscle mass on your body.
If you’re losing weight and getting stronger (or at least maintaining your strength)… This is THE #1 only true real sign that your body is finally shedding fat and holding onto the muscle.
When you lose weight and DON’T focus on getting stronger, you’ll undoubtedly get MUCH MORE weaker.
This is a literal result of the fact, that you’re NOW consuming MUCH less energy than your actually body needs… to maintain it’s current weight.
In this state it can either use muscle or fat… as a source of energy.
If you don’t lift and focus on getting stronger, your body won’t have a reason to REALLY actually discriminate between the two.
As a simple result… it will burn BOTH fat and muscle.
This is the #1 reason why it’s SO damn common to see a friend drop 20 pounds yet STILL look the EXACT same way.
Yes, he finally lost 20 pounds…
But because it actually literally consisted of BOTH muscle and fat… his body fat level either stayed the same, or barely even dropped.
He’s gone from fat to VERY SIMPLY skinny fat.
So there you finally HAVE IT…
You MUST actually get stronger in order to build a MUCH better body…
And also to foster a mindset of some REAL actual personal growth.
Until next time.
Your man,
